Look at the table given and find the value of the missing number.

Answer:

The pattern in the box is;

3rd row x 2nd row – 1st row.


So first column;

7 x 4 – 1 = 28 – 1 = 27

Similarly;

8 x 5 – 2 = 40 – 2 = 38

So we can easily find the missing number as;

9 x 6 – 3 = 54 – 3 = 51

Answer = 51

  1. Another pattern exists: difference between each consecutive numbers in same raw is always same (1) if we assume this, then, 38-27=11; 38+11=49.
