Answer: Brain is the quarterback, Kevin is the receiver, and Melvin is the kicker.
Explanation:
Since Brain is Kevin’s father-in-law, both Brain and Kevin must be married. This leaves the only remaining person, Melvin, to be the bachelor (and hence the kicker). Since Brain is taller than the receiver, Brain must not be the receiver. By process of elimination, we conclude that Brain is the quarterback. The remaining position (the receiver) goes to Kevin.
