Sharpen your logical thinking skills with this riddle.

Max came across 2 men while travelling, John & Peter.

These two men have strange habits.

John lies every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and the other days he speaks the truth while Peter lies on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, however the other days of the week he speaks the truth.

They tell Max the following

John: Yesterday I was lying.

Peter: So was I.

On which day of the week did they make these statements?

If you get the correct answer, please share it with your friends and family on WhatsApp, Facebook and other social networking sites.

From the given information we know that there is no day when both John & Peter would be lying, at least one of them must have spoken the truth.

They both speak the truth only on Sunday.

So they definitely neither made the statement on Sunday nor are talking about it.

Monday => again is not possible as they cannot be lying on a Sunday.

So analyzing al the days you will find out that it can only Peter who spoke the truth on Thursday and spoke with the Max about Wednesday. John was lying on Thursday.
