Fun Math Riddle: If I – III + IV = 100 Then; III – III = VI = ?

Look at the given equations and find the connection between them.

Once you figure out the logic behind the given equations you will be able to find the missing number in the last equation.

If

I – III + IV = 100

IV – VI + IX = 999

II – VI + VII = 879

Then;

III – III + VI = ?

If you get the correct answer, share it with your friends on WhatsApp, Facebook and other social networking sites.

WE can solve the equation as given below;

I – III + IV = 100
II = 100 —–(1)

IV – VI + IX = 999
VII = 999 ——-(2)

II – VI + VII = 879
III = 879——–(3)

III – III + VI  = VI

As per (1),(2),(3)

II + VII – III = 100 + 999 – 879
VI = 100 + 120 = 220

Ans: 220
