We can test this logic with the given numbers as;

Therefore we can find the missing number as;
7 x 8 = 56
The number on the star pointers are the result of the addition of the adjoining numbers.
We can test this logic with the given numbers as;
0 + 1 = 1
2 + 3 = 5
4 + 5 = 9
6 + 7 = 13
Therefore we can find the missing number as;
