The world was divided into people saying “going up” and those saying “going down”
The answer can be argued either way, that the cat is going up or the cat is going down, expect for some obvious hints in the construction of the stairs itself.
The most logical explanation to this illusion is that the cat is going down, because you can see the edge of the stairs.
