If you watch the equations closely you will realize that it is actually the number of circles in the numbers on the left hand side of the equation.
In the first number we have 6 with a circle in it so the result is 1.
In the second number we have 6 and 9 so result is 2
In third we have 6 and 8 so result is 3 &
in the fifth we have two 8s and one 0 so the total is 5.
So to mfind the missing number we have to count the circles in the fourth equation.
it only has 6 so the answer would be 1.
